Cifra 567 – British Strong Ale

567: ancora una CIFRA del microbirrificio Birring di Bellizzi. E’ una British Strong Ale caratterizzata da una forte complessità: al gusto miele scuro, caramello, panificato a media cottura, uvetta, una nota di cioccolato e caffè. La dolcezza dei malti predomina sull’amaro dei luppoli e una acidità calibrata dona alla bevuta una buona pulizia. Si presenta in una bella veste ambrata tendente al bruno e ha una schiuma persistente e a grana fine. Perfetta per un ricco tagliere di salumi e formaggi davanti a un caminetto acceso, con l’inverno alle porte!

567: another CIFRA from the Bellizzi’s microbrewery Birring. It is a British Strong Ale characterized by a strong complexity: dark honey, caramel, medium baked bread, sultanas, a hint of chocolate and coffee. The sweetness of malts dominates over the bitterness of hops and a calibrated acidity gives the drink a good cleanliness. It comes in a beautiful amber tending to brown and has a persistent, fine-grained foam. Perfect for a rich platter of cold cuts and cheeses in front of a burning fireplace, with winter just around the corner!
