Bourbon Vanilla – Imperial Stout

Bourbon Vanilla – Imperial Stout

“Serious beer for not so serious people.” il motto delle birrificio…altro da aggiungere?

Imperial Stout produced in Tallinn – Estonia by Sori Brewing .
Borubon Vanilla is part of the “Dark Humor Club” series which currently includes four different types of Imperial Stout produced using different spices and ingredients and with barrel passages.
Boubon Vanilla is brewed with cocoa nibs and espresso with the aim of making it a “liquid coffee cake”, generously added vanilla beans complement the ingredients for this dessert beer.
In the glass an intense black color, a cap of compact, abundant and “latte macchiato” foam.
On the nose all the aromas that are already mentioned in the label: espresso coffee, cocoa, vanilla. On the palate we find the aromas of the nose and in addition hints of licorice and very light caramel.
Sweetness dominates the drink but in the final the balanced bitterness and balances everything avoiding the cloyingness that we often encounter in beers of this style.
Beware of the 8% alcohol content, not high but respectable
“Serious beer for not so serious people.” the brewery motto … more to add?
